Saint Teresa of Lisieux
Teresa brought St. Paul’s charity to life—"Charity is patient,
is kind…thinketh no evil." She brought it to life while cleaning,
dusting, mending, while in the sacristy, in recreation: no scope was
too small for her intense pursuit of sanctity, and no achievement was
too small to offer to God.
Teresa called her way of perfection the Little Way; first, because its
stepping-stones were little things, as we have seen; and second because
it involved becoming like a little child and having absolute trust and
dependence of God.
Gown style 107 is dedicated to Teresa of Lisieux.
