Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini
Frances Cabrini was an American citizen of Italian origin. When she was
canonized in 1946 she became the first canonized saint of United States
citizenship.
Mother Cabrini will always be held in affectionate remembrance for the
wonderful work she did in caring for the children and the sick among the
poor immigrants to America.
