Most of the baptismal gowns are original designs. Many of the designs incorporate extensive use of hard-to-find, heirloom techniques such as fagoting, smocking, shadow embroidery, and hand-woven ribbon. Picciano Designs uses high quality fabrics such as raw silk, linen, batiste, and satin. Available for each gown is a selection of matching accessories including bonnets, booties, bibs, and blankets. Each gown is protected for years to come by a 100% cotton keepsake bag. An information card is provided with each gown that tells a brief story of the saint to which the gown is dedicated.
